** PART 5- ENDING **

** Description **
Here I play TMNT for the NES. This is one of my favourite NES games, and I really enjoy beating it.

Here I do not intend to do a speed run, however, I found myself going through the levels pretty fast and agressive, receiving as little damage as possible and using all the turtles and their weapons at the right time.

The "aggressive" part of the name is because I dont wait for the monsters to attack me, instead I go after them :)

Please sit back and Enjoy this wonderful game contrary do what other reviewers say (because they just dont know how to play it :) (more)

** About this level **
Well, I get the 1st pizza through the little passages, but it can be skipped because I didnt really need it. For a time attack, you can past right by and go Up instead of down (at 0:34).

For the strategy on attacking, read the Annotations, and if you don't understand something, ask me.

The new enemies, the blue bots, are really really hard as they counter attack you. Not to mention the kangaroos, which requires 2 freaking scrolls !! thats 4 Don hits ! and i guess that like a miliion of Mike's hits. Just avoid them as much as you can, or use scrolls for the win. If you get the old enemies, like at the beginning, and at 1:45, consider yourself a lucky man. See if you can "drag them" to the next screen so they don't disappear and switch to the new ones.

This is the hardest level, and you need to manage your turtle's health so you don't die. If you die, you'll be starting from the beginning, and rescuing is nearly impossible, and you won't be able to pass the last corridor with 3 turtles, and if you lose all turtles, the Continue starts without weapons, and without scrolls there is no way to survive, so just don't die and switch turtles!! you only got one chance at this, don't screw it. pay attention and imitate.

  • what the hell splinter was never human according to the movie, He was always a rat, maybe the cartoon was different I cant remember

  • @1stunna1234

it depends on the version- In the first movie he is a rat who evolves, and in the cartoon intro they show him as a mutating human. I dont know about the comic strip.

  • that little jumpy robot at 1:10 seems a lot like the frog

  • yes it does ! but its much harder. it takes 2 scrolls or 4 Don hits to kill. good observation on the movements though :)

  • I got to shredder once as a kid. Had no life and no turtles left. Can't believe that rediculous ending is all you get for this hard ass game!

  • so many hours played this game since i was a little kid. pretty much what I enjoy are the levels, the turtles and music, and smashing the hell out of the enemies. The ending, meh, yeah its just another ingame video.

  • Nope... Shredder (Oroku Sagi) is the younger brother of Oroku Nagi. Splinter's master killed Nagi for the love of a woman. Sagi became Shredder and leader of the US Foot Clan.

I have the original comics ^_^

  • Thanks to your videos I finally passed this game! Never did it as a kid, but I finally did it 17 yrs later!!! Thanks again!

  • That was just a robot copy of Shredder.

  • @1stunna1234 In the 1980s cartoon he was human. The whole first season was dedicated to the Turtles taking down Shredder so they could force him to return Splinter to his human form (Hamato Yoshi).

  • Looking at how your master plan turned out with the scrolls and considering my play style, I'd probably double up on scrolls during the Party Wagon level, but that's just me.

  • got to shredder and beat him many times, once got shrunk by his gun :D. The blue flying robots were a pain in the butt, especially that last corridor.

area 3 had a few jumps in the sewers where if you fell into that yellow lava you died, and those moving spiked walls insta killed if touched, was a bit like some of those jumps in double dragon 2.

area 4 was mostly annoyance with the spiky dudes that rolled around, sometimes took ages to kill without scrolls. technodrome was a fun fight.

  • My favorite glitch in this game is you get those 3- directional shurikens and fire it on the right side where shedder appears it should just stay there, and head to the right bottom corner go make a sandwich and watch shedder's stupid ass run right into it. LOL!!

  • @djjoelz LMAO! ME TOO

  • @demon7seven I agree. Shredder disappointed me when I was younger. I was looking forward to a challenging battle, but I beat him with 3-4 scrolls and it was a flawless victory.

  • How nice it is that when you really need some backup in the game, you always have Aprils support, what ever good that will do...

  • I am sure the Smithsonian will want to archive the footage from your speedrun. This is one of the greatest achievements in the history of western civilization.
