Those people need something to do while she's doing her thing. Nothing more annoying than people hanging around, watching you cook; offering you advice and whatnot.

@parrthd1 Let's just go 2 years back in time and do that...

Tell the dude in the back ground to shut up!

@ColbyIsColby Ziploc bags do not contain bisphenol A. There is some real concern about BPA and a few (out of many) types of plastic (NOT 95%!) contain BPA. But what you scaremongers never bother to tell people (probably because you don't know yourself) is that type of plastic is usually only used in hard plastic bottles like reusable water bottles and baby bottles. NOT saran wrap, soda/water bottles or Ziploc bags, etc.
All this information was very easy to find, by the way. You Google poorly.

@TranCendenZ It's funny how I can find loads of references on message boards, blogs, etc., to this press release from the University of Illinois making this claim and yet I can't find one single copy of the press release itself. I've looked a lot. Not one. As for SC Johnson & Son making the same claim, that would be pretty disingenuous of them since the Ziploc box has microwave instructions printed on it and their website features this very recipe.
I call bullshit.

OR....get this everyone cause I think i'm on to something...OR you could get out a pan and make the damn thing in 5 min or less without the cancer risk. Plus it'll taste and look about a million times better. Less mess to clean up. And less annoying people getting excited over a ziplock egg omelete.

It's dangerous to boil foods in a Ziploc bag. According to the University of Illinois and SG Johnson & Son (manufacturer of the Ziploc bag), Ziploc Omelets are toxic.
U of I stated, "I thought it was important to respond to a questionably safe Food Fad, the ZIPLOC OMELET. It is the latest NOT recommended fad. Please... DON'T try this at home and we will tell you exactly why. There is still question about the cancer causing breakdown of plastics and their contact with food during cooking."

Yes, #7 plastic may contain "bisphenol A", which may cause birth defects. Neurological and behavioral defects to be exact.
The scary part: About 95% of all #7 plastics contain this bisphenol A.
Scary stuff. Oh, and I'm not a genius, I just Google. =P.

Spread the message Chad! They are out to get us! Damn you ZipCorp!
Actually, she was giving a demonstration/instructions. So everyone was supposed to be watching.
