just a question,do i need to have an invisible shield on my phone to protect the back? i mean,i know it protects the screen but doesnt it scratch up the cack because the first layer is hard?

this case is awesome i have one ... (((!!!! BUT !!!!!!)))
~~~!!! THIS CASE HAS 2OPEN HOLES AT THE BOTTOM !!!~~~
and on top of that it is a 2 sided case and there is no waterproofing rubber in between the clips ..
there is a weather proof case that otter box sells but it is not submergible....
~ DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR PHONE ~ THIS CASE WILL NOT PROTECT IT ! ~

just a lil fyi the case clearly says this case is not waterproof think about it there is holes on the bottom of the case... it will provide slight water protection in slight rain.
