  • Not so bad... The tempo is quite the right one (Ravel wrote 108 MM). Pity that the pianist is an elephant... not really sensible as the fantastic violinist.

  • @sutphoe It does, eventually. Unfortunately, this video only shows the first half of the second movement. Interesting choice of the uploader to omit the second half... ;)

  • Both Jansen and Golan are marvelous!! What a charmer! Love the lyrical, elegant blues, Ravel's composition, the lady dressed in blue. Thanks for sharing.

  • Janine Jansen is great but this piece really doesn't appeal to me.

  • Lady sings the blues..... on her violin, plays the blues in her soul, lady wears the blues, lady shows to be the Master of this Blues! Wonderful, Janine! GREAT!!
