Tanukigoten: "Man is an epidemic!"

From the Japanese musical "Princess Raccoon" or "Tanukigoten." (She is actually not a raccoon but a tanuki or raccoon-dog.)

Fleeing from his wicked father, Prince Amechiyo has strayed into the forest palace of the raccoon-dogs and been taken captive by their princess. Lady Hagi warns sternly that "man is an epidemic!" and the palace children recite the various methods by which raccoon-dogs deceived by human beings have commited suicide. But when four saucy ladies-in-waiting quiz the princess about her ideal mate, she answers evasively....
