Arenowned guitarist in the Jazz scene Eddy Palermos
main musical influences are Jazz and Bossa Nova. In
1998 Palermo moved to Brazil, where he stayed for
a couple of years working with great names of the Brazilian Music scene like: Mauricio Einhorn, José Robero Bertrame, Paulinho Troumpete, Kiko Continentino,Pery Ribeiro, Toninho Horta, Roberto Menescal, Wanda Sá and Rosália De Souza. The experience has made Palermo develop a unique Jazz sound with a Brazilian swing.
Eddy Palermo performs with his own Jazz ensemble. In his portfolio of global collaborations as a solo guitarist he has worked with Chet Baker, George Coleman, BillySmith, David Samborn, George Garzone,Tony Monaco RayMantilla, Jim Hall, Bucky Pizzarelly and Joe Pass.
In his home country, Palermo has performed with great
Italian names such as Bruno Martino, Stefano di Battista,
Niky Nicolai, Flavio Boldro, Nunzio Rotondo, Roberto Gatto, Rosario Giuliani, Romano Mussolini and Massimo Urbani.
From Instambul to Huston, Eddy has performed in many
Jazz Festivals around the world; to name a few: Úmbria Jazz, Celimontana Jazz and Eddy Lang Jazz Festival.(Italy)

  • excellent. The guitarist is great, but I wish he would put a little bit more soul into it and save the rapid line stuff for a bit later, but still great
