  • I think it's played really awesome but they could've played the fifths in the middle more intensvie, couldn't they?

  • Wow...what a performance. The silence at the end is just as important to the music as the notes preceding it are, and this audience is aware and knowledgeable of just that. I love the deliberate tempo the conductor takes throughout the work; never rushed so that the small nuances of the harmonies, especially in the modulations, allow the chords to blossom on their own. Also, it affords the tremolo of the string section some wonderful rhythmic playability that is seldom heard in faster tempos.
