  • I don't know why James Rebhorn never won an Emmy. Bradley Raines was justifiably creepy and I loved Phillip & Beth jumping out the window at school to get away from him. When I see James Rebhorn in movies today, I wait for him to say "kiddo" and I know that if he ever did, I would scream.

  • Why nobody sent Phillip to "Counseling" after this shocking confession is beyond me. Finding out that you came into the world as a "Black Market Baby", and you're real parents were so close and yet so far.

  • @LujackLvr Every movie I see him in I scream "Bradley Raines!!!!"

  • Actually technically Phillip isn't a bastard. Justin and Jackie were still married when he was born. Jackie just had left Justin and never told him about the pregnancy.

  • I feel that next to Billy Clyde Tuggle on AMC, Bradley Raines was the meanest SOB on Soaps. How did he find out before Phillip?

  • Yeah, I didn't know that. I never saw that movie myself but thanks for the info. Isn't it a shame about GL being cancelled after 72 Years on the air.

  • Don't forget he was the Secretary of Defense in Independence Day as well.

  • I think in 2004 they showed what they called classic episodes of the soaps, I don't find anything from the previous year a classic,This is a classic!

  • The actor who played Bradley is now a successful "character" actor who appeared as Mr. Trask in Scent Of A Woman, Mr. Greenleaf in The Talented Mr. Ripley, and a Psychologist who tries to "straighten" out Dennis Quaid's character in Far From Heaven.

  • This classic was seen on New Year's Day of 2003. This was the final soap classic CBS Daytime had. I think soap classics aren't seen anymore because Barbara Bloom the current CBS Daytime President doesn't show them. All the soap classics we saw all those years were under CBS Daytime President Lucy Johnson (1989-2003).
