Dench- Beyond Status Geometry (1/2)

English/Australian composer Chris Dench's "Beyond Status Geometry", for four percussionists (1995).

Unfortunately, everybody's account has suddenly had their 15+ minute priveleges revoked, so I have to go back to splitting the pieces up. Sorry about the inconvenience, but believe me, I'm more upset about it than you.

There is no such thing as "status geometry." I'm not sure what the title is supposed to mean. I guess it's more "Beyond Status" geometry, like, the geometry of transcending social status or something. I dunno, the title is very pseudointellectual no matter which way you cut it.

@John11inch Thanks for your reply! I do rather like the idea that social status could be seen geometrically and then all those little triangulations and gradations could be nicely transcended. Thanks for the upload(s).

Nice colors and I appreciate the clarity of intent. It makes sense and there seems to be a musical argument that one can follow and even predict.
