@BRbffNW Do you know anything about gymnastics history? This is the compulsory set. Everyone did the same thing. What are you talking about?

this looks almost exactly like mary lou rettons floor

@USAGymnast she wasnt ever going to get a 10 since she was put only 4th in the U.S lineup with McNamara and Retton after her.

After winning the 1978 American Cup and a bronze FX medal at Worlds, Kathy became an international favorite. Because of her artistry, many seem to forget the high difficulty in her routines. Unfortunately, nerves got the best of her many times in big competitions.
However, her persistence and tenacity to make it to the Olympics after 3 quads (she tried out for the 1976 team, made the 1980 team but the US didn't attend) in my book makes her one of the best gymnasts the US has ever had.

Call me bitter, but I'd say it's because she's not Soviet.

Nice routine?? Why such a low score!!!

At the very least 9.9....beautiful routine!

9.80
She will always be one of the best dancers the US has ever produced from an era when it was truly artistic gymnatics! Sorely lacking today, Nastia is the only US gymnast that still has beautiful skills and is not just a tumbling machine!

that second tumbling pass always looks terrible from that angle... but my god Kathy can dance. she's so graceful... her body movements flow effortlessly. I prefer this to Mary Lou's... though I love both!
