Lonnie Johnson - one of the greats. Ragtime, people who know have been commenting on the excellent quality of you videos. Can you find and do Sippie Wallace's Dead Drunk Blues with Louis Armstrong on corent accompaniment?

i'm so glad that I'm not alone in my love for this great pioneer of music. I'm also trying to find the song "Old Mexico". Once upon a time I had a great collection of his songs, I really miss those old records.

Look how his 12 string only has 6 strings. A lot of people did that back then, and still do.
If you can't see it, just listen to it. You'll get it.

Robert Johnson used to worship Lonnie, so much so he pretended they were related.
Great song, another about the Great Flood of 1927, see also Lonnie's Back Water Blues' recorded a year before this.
