Here is a brief overview of the prisoner of war camp at Watten in Caithness, Scotland. Originally an army training camp, it changed to a POW camp in 1945 and held a number of high ranking Nazi POWs. My book 'Camp 165 Watten' is published by Whittles Publishing, Dunbeath, Scotland

  • Just read your new book. Thoroughly enjoyed and obviously well researched. Brings back happy memories to those of us who remember this period of history. When I saw the picture on P87 I thought I was looking at myself and my sister. Still have the cart by the way, now used as a flower pot stand. Regards

Just goes to show things were made to last in those days! Thank you so much for your kind comments. I'm really pleased you enjoyed the book.

  • Have you a book published (same title) and if so is it available through the usual outlets

  • Yes. A new edition is coming out in late April and is available at Amazon, Waterstones etc. Hope you enjoy it.

  • Interesting, next time do a voice over instead :)

    Loved the music choice

  • Would have done but didn't know how to do it before :-)
