I just underwent this surgical procedure through the VA medical system and the results are great. though my incision is much larger than is usually indicated from the things I have seen and read. Mine was C6/C7 with an unseen bone spur to complicate matters. Scar seems to be about 3 inches long. Great for Halloween. LOL

I had this same surgery. I am in week 6 of recovery and I am amazed at the results. Looking forward to a better life.

Wow, big chunks of fragmented disc, how weird.
what type of discs have been removed? Are they the spinal column discs?

@hman9981 3.The disks that herniated are the intervertebral spinal column disks and the herniated fragments are usually removed.
