I've always sympathised with the cause, you have to ask why an occupying force exists, if not to keep its people down, any person has the right to defend themselves against oppressors. @IrishWidowMaker This is not a powerful advert, it looks like propaganda to me commissioned by the RUC/PSNI to paint Republicans as thick, killers and merciless drones of an IRA hellbent on eliminating anyone, it is completely simplistic. Where is the advert showing Unionist death squads colluded and aided by the British state terrorising Catholics in the Falls and Derry. 1st of all the "troubles" is a term the english gave to sanatise bigotry & racism It was a WAR we fought against tyranny Google the black & tans or Bloody Sunday & see the atrocities they committed They "picked up" innocent young men from the street & tortured them, killed & burned the bodies Often when they were still alive!! I have killed english soldiers,.because they're english?? NO, because they invaded my country & killed my fellow countrymen EVERY life I took, took a piece of my soul!!

You missed the point about the schoolkids, "and they became friends" as we must. Pull down the walls, accept that everyone's religion has the same God, if you must be religious. No one is better than the other. No one. Bar none. Ever.

@makjac46 This isn't about two kids scrapping in a schoolyard. The problems are not so trivial as "looking at me weird" or "he called my mother a whore". The historical injustices go so far as being genocidal.
