dear musica 54321 the reason i think people walk by when this beautiful music is played is because they are conditioned to very bad commercial pablum at a very early age and they don,t know real art.an example is most rod stewart fans would not know the song stardust and only hear of it after rod sang it.it is the same twenty years earlier with linda ronstadt and nelson riddle.most linda ronstad fans never heard of those standards before.its big brother and the schlock forty.

As i a pianist i must say, that i loved both the solo and the sung version of this song. The pianist is excellent as well. I really do not know, why the piano is such an amazing instrument. I heard this music, when i was 13 years old. Today i am 28, and i still love this music SO MUCH. Thanks for posting this music. Lovely and simply elegent, beautiful potrayal of Stardust. Hoagy Carmichael composed Stardust while a student at my alma mater, Indiana University (IU). This is a legendary story.  IU is about 50 miles from my home. Hoagy of course wrote many populars melodies, but I understand he did not read music. His notations for Stardust must not have been standard. IU is home to a world-class school of music.
