@RENAN909 wow what does flyed from the jeep mean?

@thenoblesock I have seen many of old Jeeps with buick v6, what a great choice. looks like your enjoying the old beast. My fav vehicle was my 67 ford bronco hence the nic. It was bone stock except for cut fenders. Yes it had it's problems but hey that is the fun in owning old iron modifying it to meet your needs have a great time wheeling that beast take care.

@RENAN909 shorty after this i installed some "bomber stye" quick release lap belts, mainly to keep my ass on the seat and my feet on the pedals. probably would have kept going if i could have kept the throttle up, but stalled instead haha.
but yes they are fantastic, Willys made the best vehicles period.

WOOOAHH, generous government grants???
you aint no man, Once you know what its like to actually have to WORK, yes WORK, for your money, youll treat shit ALOT differently. You were hatched? whatre you a fuckin dinosaur? god your a fuckin loser. And as for your childish attempts at hurting me with the Camp sleep away. your a fuckin dumbfuck, i dont wanna hear about how your uncle touched you in your basement. Fuck off loser
the lower gearing should help lots. I used to own a 51 and it is strange but with the 4 banger the 38/1 gearing seemed fine but once you put the higher torque/horse power engines in them they seem to need lower gearing. i think it was that the 4 banger didn't have enough power to spin most of the time so they just kept going.

@TheBronco67
unfortunately this particular jeep didn't have a motor when i got it, but i have drove my buddy's L head powered 48 more than a few times and it is a joy, the gearing and power are definitely a winning combination. the 225 buick oddfire that now resides between the framerails is also a great motor, but like anything else considered an improvement sooner or later you will find yourself upgrading too much and the jeep does more sitting than driving.
but somehow it's all worth it.

those older jeeps were made for slow and easy. throw it into 4 low and first gear and about 1/3rd throttle and it will go where you want it to. go fast and it will bounce so much that you won't have enough tire on the ground to keep traction. In my humble opinion.

@TheBronco67 trust me i'm all about about low and slow, this was the third (and last attempt). in fact the reason i started bouncing so hard is because of the holes i dug in the ground trying to creep up the hill on the previous attempts.
these jeeps were made to get the job done by any means necc haha built to take abuse like this, unlike modern jeeps with plastic grilles.
maybe i'll make it up now that i've swapped the trans and dropped my crawl ratio from 38:1 to 89:1
