Because I see too many people trying to turn in Lake Akina turning the wheel only slightly while pushing their last gear, braking for a SPLIT second, then hoping they clear the corner.
And that's just SAD, especially when grown adults do that crap. It's a stock freakin' car. If you wouldnt do that in your Daily driver, why the hell would you do it here?
This video was created with the intent of clearing up basic ID5 concepts and the new physics system for both people new to the racing game scene AND those from different games (COUGH *MAXI TUNE* COUGH) and past ID games.
So if YOU are one of those people who try to corner. While floored. At max gear. Into a hairpin. Slamming your rear end into the outside 100% of the time you do.
Then this video is for YOU!
Have fun.
"that's just SAD, especially when grown adults do that crap. It's a stock freakin' car. If you wouldnt do that in your Daily driver, why the hell would you do it here?" uh, cuz it's an arcade game, chief.

@TailsSR Let me amend that then.
Why would they CONTINUE doing it if, clearly, it's not helping you in the game?

@NiaHanabishi Appreciate it. Anyway, what are your thoughts on Drift style? I noticed your video it said it's bad for beginners. Does this mean it's viable in higher play? I've found that I'm actually faster drifting than gripping. Then again, I could be grip racing incorrectly.

@TailsSR Never got around to it myself; but all evidence on idforums points to drift being faster.
I mentioned that tidbit because I realized a good chunk of people out there might start thinking drifting means cornering faster; which isn't the case exactly.
