Stop
Listen
Someone's looking for you
Not necessarily
Who you say you are
But the real you

When you look in the mirror
Who do you see
Who is that person
That you call 'me'
When you look at that reflection
Tell me, how do you feel
Or is that
Too many layers to peel off
Kinda attitude going on
That I sense here
Do I smell fear
Of the unknown
The unknown which
Is you
Do you work as hard
Being beautiful inside
The way you primp
And truss up
The outer you?
Have you grown into
That beautiful outer casing
God given or bought for you
Still searching for you
But afraid of what you'll find
Well will you think twice
The next time
You've got hating on the mind
Think twice the next time
You've got envy in your heart
Try hard to break free
Of coveting in your art
Let it not fall short
Let it be original
And not just in part
Let everything you do
Play a bigger part
Reach for higher things
And not just things
Which are material
Woman let you glow
From deep inside
Just be sensational
Let everything you do
Help guide you to
Your own subliminal
Guide yourself from inwards
Every little action counts
It's biblical
Because how great thou art
When thou art a woman of grace
A shining example of goodness and grace
True beauty real beauty
Not just in your face
A soul full of beauty
A shining creature
Transcending the rat race
Transcending race
Transcending culture
International
Transcending hate
Being real and keeping the faith
Could this be you
Can you tell
Or will we have to wait
Until you can mime
To this description
And so make it suit you
Engaging in deception
Is that what you want to do
Or is this who you are
Natural born goddess
An everyday superstar
Shining your light
Like the star that you are
Bringing the smiles
Cause that's just who you are

Do we have to reach too far to see you
Who are you
What is the tune that you dance to
Who are you
There's someone out there looking for you
But they won't find you till you can be you
That person is you
But how far will you reach to find you
Will you ever find you
Who are you
How do you feel
About that you
