  • I agree. After 37 years of TKD training and teaching I can say that power does not come from the sine wave concept but from hip motion, centering of weight, focus, proper transitions and focus of power.

  • This is an awesome form. To those people who say there are technical errors and flaws, this is the way it was done before the sine wave came along.

  • @desmont52 36 years myself, and I agree with u 100%

  • @jaydean1988 Actually "sine wave" is also a correct scientific spelling.

  • @jaydean1988

i know you commented 2 years. dnt even know if you still train

but it is spelt sine wave, as in the scientific principal of.

    thanks

the maths principla of sin would have no effect of wave motion

  • Mr Smeathers was my first grading examiner back in the day. This is an awesome display of power and technique though some things have "changed" since back in the day...

  • This is a true statement. Power is generated by hip movement and proper placement of energy. Old school is the only school.

  • not very impressed with the level of the pattern, but im in love with his twisting kicks!

  • when i go for pre blackbelt training sessions alot of people in there patterns obviously been shown poorley how to do there patterns .Ive seen 2nd and 3rd dans peform even chon ji and other patterns and made them look terrible the guy who teaches me constanly says how bad the patterns are peformed by most people. He isnt arrogant he just knows his stuff he was basicly one of paul donnelys top student and also learnt under C. K choi he is 7th dan this is how he was shown it too thumbs up from me.
