@70sman4ever Face it Rap Sucks but Disco & later Techno Sucked even worse. If it wasn't for stupid hippies not being willing to learn a funky dance move or two to please the ladies, Disco would've stayed in the gay areas where it came from. Saturday Night Fever was pretty much the best of all there was to Disco. Take the Bee Gees, Donna Summer & Giorgio Moroder out of Disco & whaddaya got? Not much. Funk is great enough for dancing without watering it down to that 4-on-the-floor retarded beat.

I remember that rebellion against Disco....even in 3rd grade kids would ask if you were for Rock n Roll or Disco...and you better have the right answer. 30 + years later most of those guys now listen to Disco and remember their youth fondly even though they hated it back then.
