CAn i use a 50cc GAS engine on it?

@tensoares I've heard of someone modifying it for a 50cc gas but they had to add like 7lb of dead weight to the nose. There was a forum on this topic but I don't remember what web site.

@roberto50800 I don't know if you ever got my response on the 22x8 prop. I've pulled over 150a with the 12cell and 22x8

@OzParkPilot I've been flying the RF50 for over a year on 12S on my 12' telemaster and my 50cc rimfire, this is what it called for. I will say that the choice of ESC in the manual was wrong. It said 120a , yes it pulls almost 160A at WOT. Have not had problems.

@dmcclurg33 I used the stock wood block motor mount. with the 50cc RF BL, I've flown with 12cell made of 2x6c 5000mah series, and 12cell with 2 paralleled sets of 2x6cell series. I have not had any balance issues. The "lifting horizontal Stabilizer" should keep everything really level. The CG range on this plane is huge.

I have a similar set up and I'm running into cg issues. Extremely tail heavy, did you have to add a lot of weight to the nose?

The RF50 is not suitable for 12s - It pulls WAY to many amps. 10s is just perfect
