@berealkid Yes the hard drives from the ps3's are the same as the ones on laptops make sure it's 2.5 SATA HDD not a 3.5 SATA HDD the 3.5 SATA HDD are much bigger.

yes I believe you will be able to since well you are in a sense "upgrading" the HD although it would prolly still help if you had an external HD so you can place all your information before doing the method.
