  • OK, that sounds like the air vent tube has water in it. This could happen if the tub was filled up too high or there were a lot of people in the tub which caused the water to rise. If there is water in your air tube, when you open the topside valve, it will not mix the air into the line properly, and would cause the symptoms you mention. If you have a shop-vac, you could try blowing out the air vent piping from the top of the tub. That often works. Hope this helps :o) Dan

  • Dan How do I get my air bubbles the vents to start working right ?

  • Well, that is a bit hard to answer without seeing it or you giving me some more details. It could be because of an air-lock as I mention in this video, but it could also be a pump or blower issue - and it could also be because you have water in your air line. Go to our web site to the How-To section - there is a lot of info there that might help. Failing that, you could always give us a call for further assistance. Thanks for watching ! Dan

  • Hmmm, I thought he was going to talk about how to avoid getting air locks in the first place or how to clear them. I had a nasty airlock in mine today but I was able to clear it by using a hose attachment that seals the hose into the intake and using hose pressurized air to force it through the system so the pump could prime.

  • air locks are caused when the water filling in the spa goes too fast and air gets trapped in the jet piping. loosening the fitting in front of the pump or heater normally will fix this problem. hope this helps ;o) dan

  • My old pool system had an air bleeder valve. Why not include on of those on the piping to allow for elimination of air locks?
