We don't live in a fishing village,(would be nice) but we had a great time, it was a beautiful day and the sea was very calm. When you catch mackerel you must not handle them, if you want to return alive.
Just hold the hook and shake the mackerel off. If you handle them before you return them to the sea they will die. We also caught 36 doggies at night all returned alive.
