BULLSHIT! Montrose doesnt have any soul. this guy is doing an amazing job perfectly. wow he gets it. ronnies problem is that he lacks soul. his solos are great and i love them but they arent soulful. and this solo here isnt meant to be soulful. listen to ronnie do it live. its straight up rock.

@harryorhell ... that's a terrible solo ... any musician can see right through this crap .. though funny, his tempo is off by 4 pts, doesn't follow the music as he should .. perhaps a little feeling with his playing would provide a much better performance and his key notes are waaaay off frankly they should delete this entire video. Anyone can play fast but can he play with feeling? .. Not in this video ... makes this video suck big time ... the idiot is fucked up ...I play better than he does!

The problem here is that the guitarist is just fast. There are a million lightning-fast guitarists out there but you need more to stand out. Ronnie's original solo had soul.
