Beckett (in the theater work) contains no adolescents. Characters are either adult/old or, as we see here, presexual (or, as in this edition, on the cusp). And yet artists are, to an extent, always perpetual adolescents. Curious...

i have been in this play, and i was the boy. i remember all of it: yes sir, no sir. but it was in norway at the national theater.
