Keb' Mo' played a subdued live show at Tarrytown Music Hall with a solid, crackerjack rhythm section featuring Reggie McBride on bass. Opening with a cover of Family Affair and moving through a 2 hour set of Keb's bluesy, inflected guitar playing and singing, he played at least 5 different guitars, from a National Steel to his workhorse red Hamer and finished with an old Harmony that got the audience on their feet and dancing. A great show without the eardrum ringing rattle of other performers who equate volume with talent.
