FAKE CAMS! 4.6L Ford Engine

This is a little trick to show your friends, if you have a 4.6L Ford engine. Makes it sound like your engine has cams.

I'm pretty sure this trick will work on other vehicles as well, you just gotta find the right vacuum tubes to unhook.

DO NOT drive your car like this.

@ilovecats748 I'm sure that just idling for a short time like I did wouldn't hurt it, but driving it like that would most likely do some damage. It's pretty much impossible to drive it like that anyway, because it COMPLETELY destroys your throttle response.

another thing that works is take the egr valves supply hose, use a t connector and reroute a line to one that has constant vacuum hook it all up and start it, it will act the same way but runs hot or cold, also will slightly hurt throttle response but runs normal above idle...it appears it hurts some performance as its looping egr constant but wouldnt suggest this for all the time.
