http://www.ukuleletricks.com - Here is a cover of what I probably would consider one of the best songs of all time: "Hallelujah." This song was originally written by Leonard Cohen but it was made pretty popular by Jeff Buckley. It's hard to do it justice to the original version, but I hope you all enjoy.

  • This is absolutely beautiful.

I've replayed this at least 5 times already; In a row.

Your voice is stunning, and your uke is amazing.

    Keep at it man. :)

  • @80zrocka thank you!!

  • what is the strumming/picking for when u play the f and g when u sing the fourth the fifth? i noticed it sounds faster, this is really amazing tho btw

  • @jujukeju For the F and G, I break my picking pattern a little bit. The song is played to a count of six. For the F chord, I'm plucking the top three strings in succession, and then I repeat plucking the top three strings for the G chord. Each chord gets three beats. Another way to put it is that the F is played for the first three beats of the measure and the G is played for the 4th, 5th, and 6th beats of the measure.

  • what kind of a ukelele do you use?

  • @Shanemandelful I have a ukulele made by an amazing luthier named M. J. Franks. You can check him out at mjfranksguitar [dot] com
