@beatlenut2000 I mean didmt you hear the description of him kicking so much ass an echo of groans reached the heavens ? But somehow he was getting beat most of the time ? Come on man....
-
@beatlenut2000.... Is the modern soldier a coward ? Marines, army soldiers, special forces of all kind get pulled back to heal their wounds. So are they cowards ? And he didn't lose most of his battles thats a crock of shit. Whered you heard that ignorance ? From what I read he won a good majority.
-
@Jpitts1988 he lost most of his battles and was a coward when wounded!

@MrRjmac Spartans are part of greek... beside spartan dun start war, they just keep their name as the best army. They worshiped hercules.
-

Ares is a badass. Might name a son after him
-
@MrRjmac Thats untrue the Greeks love war. War was in center of polis political stance no Greek hated war they could hate sorrow and death tough. Ares was major god in several polis not just Sparta.
-
Ares had a limited worship, the Greeks hated war. Only in Sparta was he worshipped

Ares is the Greek god of war. "Ares is apparently an ancient abstract noun meaning throng of battle, war." He is one of the Twelve Olympians, and the son of Zeus and Hera. As the Olympian god of warfare, righteous indignation, and courage, lover of Aphrodite and "Leader of Righteous Men," Ares presides over male passion, the weapons and preparations for war, the defense and protection of cities, rebellion and civil order, the policing of banditry, masculinity, integrity, and personal courage.

@daftrok true :P. I should have said never existed in myth.
-
@FacelessFallenAngel Neither did any of these gods :D
-
Cratos was the god of strength, son of Styx and Pallas, one of Zeus' four companions. What I meant is that the character in the video game never existed.
-
@FacelessFallenAngel Not true. Kratos indeed existed in greek mythology, just not as the son of Zeus.
-
@daftrok You are aware Kratos as he's portrayed in video games was not in any Greek myths, right
-
@darthlord4699 Well he caught him, don't know what happened after that
-
@Hosea22 yes phobos deimos and harmonia
