Kirtan Ustad Satnam Singh Ji (singapore) singing 'Prabh Jio' (sorath)

Ustad Satnam is singing a shabad of Guru Arjan Ji , 'Prabh Jio Khasmana Kar Pyare'. This shabad is prescribed to be sung in Raag Sorath and Ustad ji is singing in this raag. Ustad Satnam is a student of Ustad Sukhwant (principal of Jawaddi Taksal) who was also the teacher of the Late Ishmeet Singh. Ustad Satnam is proficient in all Raags in the SGGS and also is adept at the Partaal style of singing. He also teaches students Sikh Instruments like the 'Dilruba, rebab, saranda and taus' . Ustad ji plays the rebab extremely well, we will try to upload videos of him singing with rebab soon. Ustad Ji is currently doing sewa by teaching the fine art of Gurmat Sangeet at the Sikh Centre in Singapore.
