High speed video (1200fps) of the same tuning fork vibrating at 125 Hz. No strobe light, just the actual vibration of the tuning fork tines, recorded with a frame rate of 1200fps using a Casio EX-F1 digital camera

  • except.. you can see the hand moving back and forth - this is the same few video frames played over and over...

    not true . . . there is NO looping in this video . . . the hand appears to be moving because this was shot at 1200fps and you can see my thumb vibrating with the fork.

  • @hooperjaws The "hand vibration" is also due to the flicker of the lights (60Hz fluorescent lights) when filmed at 1200fps.
