he's adorable. how old was he when you recorded these vids? in this one, he is doing the baby feed me or mom come here type of crying. they out grow it fairly quickly. im guessing he was about 3-4months old when you recorded this hey?
glad to see you exposing him to a variety of experiences. makes for an emotionally and mentally healthy little tiel:) thanks for sharing him with us:)

@saturnineanodyne Is it just me or is there just people who have no idea what they are talking about. Why don't people read the description.
Thanks for sharing that, I had a cockatiel called beaker who was a lutino, she was hand tame and an individual. I clipped her wings to tame her and then i let her grow them back, but one day she followed me out and kept going, i was devestated, I miss that bird.....
Charlie is female, he has stripes on his butt, which naturally indicates your Charlie is a girl.

Read the description on my other Charlie
video, and you will see he is a he:-) Not
only breeder proven, but DNA tested and
also remember that baby cockatiels are
hard to read as they ALL have stripes at
that age....at least the 'normal grey'
mutation does, which is he is:-)

he's either hungry or wants attention (aka being babied)

Oh he did it for both reasons! But after those, he would continue because of relocation regression. Thank goodness it stopped!

Thanks a girl cockatiel!

Hehe, nope! All cockatiels have the tail barring until a certain age;-) Charlie was a proven male by the breeder, and I also had a DNA test to make sure. And now the barring is gone:-)
