after numerous attemps... with complete failure of pressing back.. it managed to do it by itself... very peculiar... Also if anyone uses Linux and wants a method to update their phone you can check out on ubuntuforums . org / showthread.php?p=11671521#post

Step 2: Turn off your phone and wait for 5 seconds, HOLD ON TO THE BACK BUTTON THEN CONNECT!

That's why I dropped Sony Ericsson. Too complex process, little or not help. Moved to HTC, no problems at all.

this is why you should buy iphone. its just plug in to computer and click update ...done this phones SUX wye does it haves to be so hard -.- (i stuck on 2 stuff i cant use browser on my phone AND i hold the back button long time bla bla bla bla and nothing happends. yes i have do it exactely what it says plzzz help if you know whats the wrong sorry for bad english
