If nothing else interesting arises in the 21st cent, I won't complain. It brought youtube. This is gold.

I thank the Lord above that there is music like this that I can show my kids. RIP Johnny.

We wouldn't want her to solo cover this song; Johnny's rendition is definitive. But interestingly, in this duet her voice can be interpreted dramatically as that of the title "She" mourner who walks the hills, and/or of an angel or Valkyrie convoying the dead narrator to his reward; and vocally her soprano a counterpoint to his baritone.

I wonder if this made June jealous.

Her high voice isn't stylistically appropriate IMO. The solo at 1:45, though, was fantastic.

I sort of hate utube because once on here, it takes everything I've got to get off. One song leads to another-and another-and another-

What a duet!! I never get tired of Johnny Cash, a man with a guitar, a song, and the heart and soul to sing it, blended with Joni. Awesome.

For country Johnny Cash is still my favorite. No one could come close to him. I still play his cd;s in my car. God bless him.

No, I was referring to the technology that this century might bring, not the artists. John Mayer is OK though! :-)
