Max Payne 3 isnt meant to continue the storyline of the first max payne. although it continues max paynes life, it is a new part of his life.

@mainkilla Agreed. 1 is badass. I could cope with 2 because of my deep adoration of the film-noir genre. I just can't bloody believe how Max Payne 3 is looking. At first, I thought it was some sort of april fools thing... Then 6 months later, new footage shows up, and they were actually developing this.. ;_;

@GydoKamst Two was ok, 1 was believable. The cover and character of MP1 looked way more badass than 2's 40s era detective cop MP2 looked.

@mainkilla Totally. He's a badass. Two was nice. I will refuse to consider Max Payne 3 even closely canon, because doing so will fuck up 1 and 2 in retrospect. Fuck baldie.
