DAYTON, Ky. (WKRC) -- A mother is under arrest for putting her baby in a truck that wasn't running. A neighbor heard the baby crying and the woman told police she put the baby in the truck because her house had no heat. It isn't clear how long the baby was there but it was at least 15 minutes or more in subzero cold Tuesday morning. Samantha Lauer has been charged with wanton endangerment. The child's condition has not been released. Lauer is locked up on the Campbell County Jail Tuesday night.
