Tardis Door Open

Made to test a way of putting the tardis interior into the interior in one shot. Uploaded here to see what people think (I know it's not perfect though).

How did you do that? is that two different videos? The inside a matte, with the same camera moving in two different scenes?

@ManservantPablo Yes, just put the interior layer beyond the extorior layer and keyed out the doorway, although it might have worked better if I'd just masked it out instead. Might try that in the future.

Indeed they do, thank you for pointing that out. Although I'm sure they can open outwards as well.

I'm also aware that the doors should be white on the inside for the record.

Anyway the point of this vid was to test out putting the exterior around the interior.

Short but sweet! I've been thinking about a shot like this for a while - I'm happy to see it realised so well.

p.s. real Police Box doors opened outwards anyway - so maybe the Chameleon Circuit got a minor upgrade..? ;-)
