I can't be bothered to sneak around. I just got the game, but is it possible to do this level with brute force running around?

Yes, but you HAVE to use a silenced weapon almost the entire time else they hear you and sound the alarm.

why do you reload so early?

1) I can without effecting magazines. In real life I couldn't reload like this unless I wanted to take the time to combine magazines.

2) I want to be ready for the next encounter. You never know when those extra few bullets could save your life =)

I love how the music crescendos right as he's firing in true action movie fashion where the hero(es) bust down the door and, with no other sfx than a dramatic piano sonata, shoot up the bad guys and the moment swells as their bodies fall in slo-mo
