Komen’s new VP of Public Policy Karen Handel has long anti-choice history & pledged 2 eliminate grants to provide breast/cervical cancer screenings when she ran 4 governor of Georgia in 2010.

According 2 PP in the past 5 yrs support from Komen allowed their health centers to provide nearly 170,000 breast exams & 6,400 mammogram referrals. The decision has succeeded only in depriving low-income women of cancer screenings that could save their lives a move that flies in the face of Komen’s mission

This walk is not about politics or a corrupt CEO, it's about love. When you refuse to donate to this "big pink monster," you're not hurting the company. You're hurting the millions of women who will die from breast cancer if they don't have access to the screening, support, and treatment that Komen provides. Remember that this issue is not about politics - it's about people, who are suffering from the inability of people to see past the politics and into the heart of the issue.
