Daniel on Ascension - I think the reason most of his memory as an ascended being was erased / suppressed was because as a descended human, the sheer volume of raw data & info would overload his mind & memory, & he would either have been in a permanent catatonic state or he would've died.

@knoxvilleguy2 Daniel picked up a lot throughout his time in Stargate. Sure he doesn't know the ins-and-outs of the physics, but he is smart enough to understand the concepts.
Also, the second SGU series really started to turn the story around. It started to get quite exciting and many people noticed this. I feel that it could have really lifted off in a third series, but MGM's financial difficulties didn't help the situation at all.
