@faeembrugh @faeembrugh This should make interesting reading as it states he trained as a navigator and for that he would have had to read Morse fluently to navigate via beacons.

@Binfirebaby Yes, you are correct. Although the intonation is defined by the music the morse reads 'Here I am here I am' Some ambiguity surrounds: letter J which is .--- (dit dah dah dah) and A .- (dit dah), and M -- (dah dah) and the way it is sung makes it difficult to ascertain what letter he is simulating but it is safe to say 'Here I am' is the meaning.
