Its not even a broken netbook. It lacks usb ports, SD card reader, programs ect. Its really just a big iPod touch.

I think its proof that apple hates you. No usb, no sd card reader, its a "gaming device with no controllers", you need expensive apple certified cables to charge or have video out, and last but not least if you run Linux apple made sure reverse engineering syncing is illegal (in the u.s.). fuck you apple.

It's not a little netbook, nor a broken one.

Likewise, it's not a little e-reader, nor a broken one.

It's riding the line in between, and utilizing Apple's most successful user interface: the TOUCH SCREEN.

How many netbooks do you know of that have a Touch Screen?

Having said that i still think it is a piece of s*** and doubt I will invest in one until there is more mobility.

But don't compare it to notebooks or ereaders. It's meant to get the market inbetween the two.

I ordered 2. I'm going to network them together and use one for the screen, and the other just for the keyboard. :O)

I could see the iPad being useful, once it's jailbroken and running an ssh server and the backgrounder app. before that, it's just a big iPod touch.
