an arrangement of clips from my time in Burma earlier this year...

I will never forget my time there, or the amazing people I met. Human rights are something most of us take for granted until they're taken away, or we're tricked into giving them up. Please read up more about Burma's dictatorial military regime, the struggle of the ethnic minorties and burmans alike, Aung San Suu Kyi... do what ever you can do to help, even if it is making yourself and other people aware.

In Burma there is NO free speech, NO freedom to associate politically, NO right to peaceful protest, and, for far too many- NO right to a simple, honest way of working, living, and raising a healthy family with the basics.

Because the Burmese civil war and human rights abuses are so atrocious and have been happening for such a long time on a daily basis, they barely make the mainstream news. It should be our responsibility to learn the facts about news that the newspapers are 'bored' of.

  • Ok, a couple things:

First off, no dislikes on this video! That alone shows you how amazing you are!!!

Secondly, what was the stuff that that lady put on your cheeks?

Thirdly, how many places have you visited? I know that you visited India, and now Burma, is there anywhere else?

And lastly, Cherry, you are an inspiration to us all. Keep being the beautiful person you are, and please continue to share your experiences with us <3
