妊娠によるやむを得ない結婚、妊娠させたための結婚、強制結婚、できちゃった（結）婚◆【語源】かつて花嫁の父親が婚前に娘を妊娠させた花婿に憤慨して銃(shotgun­)を突きつけて結婚させたことに由来する。

to knock sb up:
誰かをを妊娠させる
Examples:
Don knocked her up.
ドンは彼女をはらませたんだ。／ドンは彼女を妊娠させたんだ。◆やや下品な表現

妊娠してできちゃった結婚をする
get pregnant and get shotgun-married

You can also say: "a shotgun bride"
Example: She was a shotgun bride.

「無理しないで下さい」とは、英語での「Take it easy」です。病気のせいでパーティーに来なくてほしがってい­るなら、「Don't worry about the party, take it easy」と言ったほうがいいのではないんだろう。
