2007 Concept Car of the Year Holden Efijy

The 2007 Concept Car of the Year Award goes to the Holden Efijy, from GM Holden, Australia. The awards took place July 5 at the Automotive Hall of Fame in Detroit, MI. Lou Ann Hammond, CEO of Carlist.com, was the presenter.

@SlickHolden They have been doing "contractor work" for other GM divisions for a while now; Daewoo, Pontiac, Chevrolet, Buick and Vauxhall. You just don't hear much about a lot of it

@1093T Except that this isn't some "rich boy's resto," this is a one off prototype, built by GM Holden themselves. This one is more advanced, because EVERYTHING bar the chassis, including those one piece alloy wheels, was built from scratch. It was only ever intended to be a one-off show car, to prove what Holden can do . Of course when GM USA found out about it, they wanted to claim it as their own. Some people don't even know the Pontiac G8 and recent GTO were rebadged Holdens either

I really hate being a dick about cars.

I know I'm getting negetives for this!

Dont get me wrong it's a nice car.

But people....in the rich areas in California, New York, and Georgia....you see these things literally lining the garages!

Coddington, Trepanier, Foose, design and make things like this all the time.

if they make it expect it to have a milliion plus price tag to regain expenses to produce it from aus thats what head of production said in an interview

Holden does things like this in there spare time they aren't half committed hey lol..

Give them 10 billion dollar's and they will design small to large cars for all of GM lol.
