Our bicycle tour around Tasmania was exciting because of the unique wildlife like Tasmanian Devils and platypus as well as the unpredictable weather including rain, strong winds, and snow. We enjoyed visiting Cradle Mountain, Lake St. Clair and Mount Field National Parks.

  • 1 About 10,000km each year

2 we are hungry all the time but we never run out of food - we have learned to plan ahead

3 protein powder - I guess - who's buying - is that anything like powdered alcohol?

4 first thing in the morning we like coffee and the BBC on our shortwave radio.

  • Wow, how do you bike with all that gear on there

  • Very slowly? It takes more patients than power because we have very low gears.

  • I salute you for your mind blowing trip!

How many miles so far? Are there ever times when you are hungry, out of food and there are no food shops nearby? If so, would you drink protein powder drinks if you had them/does that sound like a good idea first thing in the morning?
