Wow, those were the days. As a child, I remember when game shows were all over daytime TV. Eventually, soap operas took over. Nowadays, it seems like it's nothing but sleazy talk shows.
-
The hell? Hugh Downs actually did something besides 20/20???
-
Yes, 'Tube', NBC had an all-color daytime lineup- after "CONCENTRATION" was finally converted to color In November 1966- and "THE PAT BOONE SHOW" was part of it. His series only appeared for one season, through the summer of '67.

what's the name of the background music?
-
I couldn't tell if "Pat Boone" was in color or not.
-
@JoshuaTaylor They had plans to have Concentration back in 2000. But NBC scrapped that in favor of a 3rd hour of The Today Show.

I remember Snap Judgement from the late 1960's. During the final weeks of
that show, it morped into the Password format.

I wish I grew up in the '60s! :(
-
I only 10 and in school back then. In fact, I found out that my teacher that year, Mrs. Grotz, passed away back in August. I was sitting in her class back then.

Thanks for the memories!
The problem is most of the shows you and I may have enjoyed growing up are to complicated. Even Betty White said they can't even bring back "Password" the way it was played 30-40 years ago because of our "dumbed down" society. "Jeopardy!" is the only "real" game show that exists today..
