PLC application in which I had to program a conveyor. Simply, you can define the number of laps and the conveyor should loop the white piece.

  • what simulator did you used?and from what country are you?

  • @danelizon I used TwinCat software. I am from Romania, but this was a school project in another country.

  • could you help me in to write a ladder logic program or funtional block diagram for access control system for a secure nuclear laboratory controlled by plc, that includes provision for emergency evacuation if

the radiation levels exceed a critical threshold..The PLC has four relay outputs, eight digital inputs

two of which can be configured as analogue inputs..

  • This was a school project and I haven't done something like this since that project. And now I have some hectic days. So I'm afraid I couldn't help you...

  • great job, I was looking for a proggram of PLC and factory simulation and programing called PlantSIM but I?ve founded exactly one of it's simulation with exactly the same programming process. Did you use it? what system do you use? siemens logo, beckhoff twincat? was it easy? i'm thinking on making one of that, the one i like is the liquid level measuring and filling prject.

  • I've never heard about PlantSIM, I don't have any idea how does it work. I also used Siemens Simatic, but only virtualy (for testing I was just downloading into the built-in simulator). Beckhoff Twincat is quite easy to use, although the configuration of the inputs and outputs was a little bit tricky. Some colleagues made an user interface in WinCC which used my application. In my opinion, Twincat should be suitable for your project.

  • @marcelinocmb woah..what was that?hehe

  • @motorbuddy it's because of the voltage input..the higher dc voltage you have, the conveyor belt will moved faster and faster,,but don't try to over supply the required voltage in the conveyor,,,because it would cause some trouble in tthe servo motor which control the conveyor or the dc motor,..

  • @ngilyas you must understand how it work then you cvan make any project they told you to do..just nid input then output.. must know how to read and UNDERSTAND ladder diagram. if you know how to read and you can UnDERTAND the operation of the system by just reading the ladder diagram, then for sure you can create your own program of any procedures in a given projects.

  • esta elegante esa programacion se te agradece tu aporte

es lo minimo que debe publicar

  • Nice job - you could use some cushions or flow controls on those cylinders. That hit the object takes on the retract is a bit severe.

  • You are using the CodeSys programming environment ofr Moeller plc I see. I writing over here an application for temperature control using the same tools. Great work you made!!!
