Our family vactioned in Hatteras since the 60's and have seen the damage done by over developing that has been lead by crooked politicians and GREED. The island has been flooding the same way for the forty + years I've been going there. Before ending up on this you tube page I was searching for vintage video or photos from Hatteras didn't find any though. Global warming is joke/circus and Fat Al Gore is the New P.T. Barnum. Flatulence from all the illegal beaners might be more believable. U.S.A.

Before they tackle global warming the waste / septic system needs to be researched. With all the new homes along with people on the OBX, the crap has got to go somewhere and right now every time a storm hits it goes into the ocean.
Honestly the place is already over developed, I miss the old days.

one thing you can do is to dredge sand deep out in the ocean than put it on the outer banks to make the islands bigger and less threatened.

There are other things we can do to slow this distuctive forces. The key is natural restoreation of our atmosphere!!! I am trying to put together some real ideas to save our atmosphere the key to our survival
